How Data Recovery Software Works

Understand How Files Are Stored

When New File Is Created Or Files Are Copied OS Updates File Table. File Table Stores File Name, Path, Memory Space. Memory Space Values Are Either Available Or Reserved. All This Values Are In 1 And 0 Form.

What Happens When You Delete File

When You Delete File First It Goes To Recycle Bin As Per Default OS Settings. You Can Easily Recover Files From Recycle Bin.

Once You Clean Recycle Bin File Is No More Visible. You Cant Access That File. Here, OS Updates File Table And Clears The Path Of File And Change Memory Space To Available For Future Use.

Have You Ever Notice Just Deleting File Will Not Increase Your Free HDD Space. It Will Only Increase Once You Clean Recycle Bin.

What Precaution Need To Be Taken After Files Are Deleted

  • Do Not Use That Drive.
  • If Its Main Drive Like C:/ Stop All Programs And Start Recovery Software.
  • Do Not Perform Any File Read Or Write Operation Like Copy, Move. Delete, Create, Update.
  • Use 2-4 Recovery Software In Case You Are Not Able To Recover File Successfully.

No Software Can Claim 100% Recovery Guarantee As It Totally Depends Whether Block Of Memory Space Which Holds File Data Is Still Intact Or Have Been Used By OS To Store Other Files.

Freeware Recovery Software Available. Click On Name Of Software To Downlad.

Sleep Or Shutdown Or Hibernate ? What Is The Difference ?

Sleep Mode....

In Sleep Mode....Running Operations Are Saved And Stored On RAM. PC Do Not Consume Much Power But Still Slight Consumption As RAM Stores All Data. Its Like Rest Mode. PC Starts Quickly In Sleep Mode As All Boot Operations Are Not Required. Its A Power Saving Mode. When You Want To Go Out For Short Time And U Don't Want To Close Your Programs, Sleep Mode Is Preferable.

But What If Power Failure Occurs....

Well, In That Case You Will Loose All Your Data Because Data Is Stored In RAM (Volatile Memory). In Sleep Mode PC Is In Pause Mode, Same Like DVD Player When You Pause A Movie.

Is It Good To Use Sleep Mode....

Yes, You Can Use Sleep Mode But In Sleep Mode Power Is Still Consumed Circuits Are Heated. So If Quick Booting Of System Is Not Required Use Shutdown Mode And Give Components A Rest.

Shutdown

Alternate To Sleep Mode....

Yes, Hibernate Mode. It Save Running Program In File Which Is Stored On Hard Disk. So Next Time System Will Refer File While Booting. This Mode Is Slow Compare To Sleep But Faster That Shutdown.

Shutdown Mode....

Shutdown Mode Will Save And Close All Programs Running On System. It Clears RAM Memory. Power Supply Completely Stops. So Next Time Boot Process Starts From ZERO.

Use Of Shutdown Mode Is Necessary As It Avoids The RAM Memory Management Issues, Which May Slow Down Performance Of PC
